Oh Noes, a Casualty!

I went one round with a bus window, and although I left the scene the winner, there was a casualty from the fight!
My poor nail!

 

As you can see it broke really quite far down, so just cutting it was  not an option. I needed to find a way to repair it!

I can't remember the last time I broke a nail, so silly as I am I didn't have anything to hand, and no good techniques for repairing. I had heard about using a tea bag, so off to Google I went.

I found a super useful blog post by Nail Corner, and I used this as a guide to repair my nail.

 

This happened yesterday, and - touch wood - so far it's holding up ok.

 

I'm planning on posting my step by step on how I mended my unfortunate nail!
